Pesto
Pesto is an Italian seasoning sauce, which is often served with pasta. The best known is the Pesto alla Genovese from northern Italy, which is made of grated basil, roasted pine nuts, garlic, parmesan and olive oil.
As a further variant, there is the spicy tomato pesto, which is mainly produced of dried tomatoes.
